Thoroughly enjoyed the book and has invigorated my desire to learn more of the war my Grandfather fought in.

I would also love to see a picture of Erika or even better if that McCurdy Hotel photo of the four of them is available.

Thanks again and thank you for taking the time to diligently research and write this book. I was captivated.

I am a student of history, I have always had a particular interest in all things concerning WWII. I have read both of your Erika Lehman books as well as Proper Suda. To be honest Proper Suda’s appearance seemed rather lacking. I decided to get the book in spite of it’s minimal facade. I thought “seriously, that’s not even 200 pages”. I started it as soon as I got home with it. I read it cover to cover. I stand corrected this was a great read, only to be rivaled by your first two novels. I look forward to the third Erika Lehman book this spring.

I’m a friend of Bob Downen in Shawneetown-have written a lot about local WWII and our veterans on my blog. You might find a few stories of interest.
Janet and I are interested in looking more into the Nov. ’12 tour starting in Lisbon and including Spain, North Africa.
Less interested in the European tour, but still would like to hear more there as well. Best Regards
